Item Details

ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 16.5mm long, including levers.
Earrings are 10.5mm wide.
Opals are 7mm long x 5.5mm wide, weighing approx. 0.75ct combined.
Diamonds are approx. 1.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.15ct combined.
Weight: 3.1g combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Natural Solid Opal (0.75ct), Diamond (0.15ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: These antique 15ct Gold Opal Diamond lever back earrings are in very good condition. The Opals are smoothly domed with a gorgeous play of colour, with only minor signs of wear to the back, which cannot be seen while the earrings are worn. The Diamonds are radiant, securely set, and free from fleabites or abrasions. There is a crack in the bezel setting of one of the Diamonds, but this does not affect its security. With only minor signs of wear to the Gold and secure lever backs, these Victorian earrings can be enjoyed for many more years!
