In order to achieve the 3D effect of her intricate dog, a technique called 'reverse intaglio' has been used. This is when a gemstone has an intaglio carved into the flat back, and then painted realistically with oils so the image appears three-dimensional. This can also be known as 'Essex Crystal'.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold throughout, Rock Crystal.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT. This antique 18ct Gold Essex Crystal dog pendant is in beautiful condition throughout. The Essex Crystal is completely polished, with no signs of scuffs, scratches or nicks to its settings. The 'G' in the word 'Margot' has worn slightly, but other than that her Enamel is superb! There are a few subtle scratches to the back of the pendant, but this is unnoticeable when worn. Plus, the little chihuahua's face is completely immaculate.

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 30%
Day 30: 35%
Day 60: 35%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
