MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 18mm long x 13mm wide.
Garnets are 10.5mm long x 8mm wide, weighing approx. 8.46ct combined.
Pearls are 2mm in diameter.
Weight: 6.1g combined.
MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Garnet (8.46ct), Pearl.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD: These antique 18ct Gold Garnet Pearl cluster earrings are in very good condition. The Gold is bright and each gemstone is held securely within its setting. The Garnets have lovely high domes, with only minor fleabites visible under a jeweller's loupe. The Pearls are all present and have been preserved well over the years. There is some general age-related wear throughout, to be expected, and there is evidence of a conversion on the back of the earrings- though this is not noticeable from the front. The butterfly backs are snug-fitting so you can enjoy wearing these outstanding Victorian Garnet Pearl earrings with confidence!
