ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).
MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 31.5mm long including jump ring.
Locket itself is 22.5mm long x 19.5mm wide.
Weight: 5g.
MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold back and front, metal frames and hinge for strength and durability.
STAMPS: 9, .375 on jump ring.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD: This antique 9ct Gold engraved locket is in very good condition. The Gold is bright and buttery, and the engravings are intricate, although the engravings around the edges have worn down over the years. The original frames are missing, but once cut to size your chosen photographs will stay securely in place. With a secure jump ring, you can wear her with confidence!
