Item Details

ERA: Edwardian (1901-1909).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 28mm long inc. jump ring.
Locket itself is 23mm in diameter.
Pearls are 1.5mm in diameter.
Garnets are 2mm in diameter.
Diamonds are 2mm in diameter.
Paste stones are 1.5mm in diameter.
Weight: 4.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold back & front with metal frames and hinge, Garnet, Diamond, Pearl, Blue Paste.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: This antique 9ct Gold Diamond and Pearl round locket is presented in very good condition. Her 9ct Gold is rosy and her engravings remain crisp and clear. There is some wear in points to the Gold and some discolouration marks, particularly on the back of the locket. This is not so impactful as it is not noticeable while the locket is being worn. There is also some wear to the lustre on some of the Pearls but the rest of the gemstones are crisp and securely set in their settings, allowing for confident and secure wear.
