Item Details

ERA: Victorian, c.1900.

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 22.5mm long x 20mm wide.
Weight: 4g.

MATERIALS: 9ct Gold Back & Front, Metal frame, Paste.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

GOOD. This antique 9ct Gold moon & stars blue Paste heart locket is in good condition. The locket has kept its shape well, and the motif on the front has remained intact with all Paste gems accounted for. There is one ding noticeable as you open the locket, near the lip, but looking front on this isn't obvious. The inside of the locket has some surface wear to note, commensurate with age, but this can be concealed with your photos. There is some wear to the hasp, from where it has so lovingly been worn throughout the years, but you can wear this piece with your favourite chain for years more!
