Item Details

ERA: Edwardian (1901-1910).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 47mm top to bottom.
Square drop is 22mm x 22mm.
Weight: 1.5g.

MATERIALS: 9ct Gold, Jelly Opal.

STAMPS: 9CT on inside of bale.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

GOOD TO VERY GOOD. This antique 9ct Gold Opal drop pendant is in good to very good condition. The Gold is gorgeous and the Jelly Opal is striking. To the back of the setting where the Opal sits, there looks to be some glue that has discoloured through time, but this is only visible up close and from the back. The pendant has been loved by its previous owner or owners, as you can see where it has been worn with a chain and worn slightly on the inside of the bale, but she has lots of love left to give!
