This antique scarab beetle pendant is the perfect little treasure from Victorian era. A subtle yet sweet homage to the ancient Egyptians, this antique charm encapsulates the 19th-century "curios" attitude.

This particular beetle is set in 800 Silver, and boasts an iridescent green shimmer that catches the light beautifully. Scarab Beetles represent the circle of life and immortality, making this Victorian pendant all the more special.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 23mm long, including jump-ring.
Scarab beetle itself measures 14.5mm tall x 10.5mm wide.
Weight: 1.3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 800 Silver gilded with Gold pendant, 9ct Gold jump-ring, Scarab Beetle.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

This scarab has exceptional detail, exuding an iridescent green shimmer that comes to life beneath the light.
