We are in love with this antique Silver Aquamarine Paste necklace! This incredible piece is bursting with colour, a deep sky blue, perfect for cool tone lovers.

This necklace is a true Georgian beauty. The cut on the stones is absolutely gorgeous, with each facet reflecting the light beautifully! These stunning Aquamarine Paste gems are very much in keeping with the Queen Anne style, but because of the open backs these are not quite as old as original Queen Anne jewellery, dated slightly later, as revival, circa 1830's.

The drop detail to the piece makes for a perfect décolletage framing finish. This is a one-of-a-kind beauty!

ERA: Late Georgian, c.1830.

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 17" or 43cm long.
Aquamarine Paste cluster is 34mm long x 35mm wide.
Centre Paste stone is 15.5mm long x 14mm wide.
Paste drops graduate from 16mm long x 12mm wide, to 16mm long x 13.5mm wide.
Weight: 8.7g.

MATERIALS: Sterling Silver, Queen Anne style Aquamarine Paste.

STAMPS & HALLMARKS: None present.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. This antique Silver Aquamarine Paste necklace is in very good condition! The Paste has kept beautifully well after all of these years and mimics the appearance of Aquamarine tremendously well. There is a little nibble to the centre stone, but no antique piece is perfect, and we think it simply adds to her charm. The chain has a secure set of links, and the bolt ring closes securely. This is a spectacular piece of Victorian jewellery with ample wear potential.
