Crafted around the turn of the century, c.1900, this Art Nouveau Enamel locket has been coated with a vivid cobalt blue Enamel front that is captivating in the light!

Item Details

ERA: Art Nouveau (1890-1910).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 33.5mm long, including jump ring.
Locket is 24mm in diameter.
Weight: 7g.

MATERIALS: Sterling Silver, frames are metal with an 18ct Gold top rim, Guilloche Enamel.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. A lovely antique Silver cobalt blue Guilloche Enamel locket. This locket has a beautifully Enamelled front, and the back is smooth with surface wear commensurate with age. The inside of the locket is gilded with Gold, and the frames allow you to place two photos of your choice inside. The locket has clearly had photos of loved ones held within it, as the solder joins from where the frame has been adjoined to form a circle are slightly indented - but you can still keep your photos safely inside.
