Item Details
ERA: Edwardian, c.1910.
MEASUREMENTS: Egg is 16mm long x 12mm wide.
Weight: 4g.
MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, 9ct Gold & rare Pink Guilloché Enamel.
STAMPS: Soviet '84' stamp on Silver to indicate Silver and the section. attached to the egg tests as 9ct Gold. This example shows the "84" stamp, (or "Zolotniki" as it is called) has been used as a fineness / purity stamp since 1798 until the early 20th Century.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT. This antique Soviet era Pink Enamel egg pendant is in lovely condition. The egg is coated in a glossy pink Enamel that is the perfect pink. The Enamel has worn ever so slightly in one area near the base of the egg, but this is only the outermost glossy layer, and not noticeable when you wear it.
