Item Details

ERA: Edwardian (1901-1909).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 40mm long x 26mm wide.
Paste gemstones are 2mm in diameter.
Weight: 11g

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver with 9ct Gold frame rim, Paste, Opal, Moonstone.

STAMPS: 925 on back of pendant.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD This Edwardian Silver Paste Shaker Locket is in very good condition. The Paste gemstones are all secure and although a few may have lost a little lustre, they still provide a wonderful display of sparkle. There are one or two scuffs on the original Glass pane but this is commensurate with age and doesn't take away from her charm! The hinged back frame is in perfect working condition, securely holding the locket's contents. The bow detailing is firmly affixed and with her chunky jump-ring, you can wear this Edwardian locket with confidence!
