This being said, when you look at the ring from afar its beauty remains, and the intriguing obscurity of the sepia image remains a wonderful homage to a bygone era!

Garnets are approx 1.5mm in diameter.

Condition
GOOD. This Georgian ring is in good condition overall. The ring wears comfortably, and the shank is smooth. The Garnets in the ring are secure, and each has its own berry red hue. The sepia scene at the centre of the ring is no longer what it once was, but an outline of what appears to be an urn remains; from afar the obscurity of the scene is enchanting, it's only up close when evidence of its 200 year life comes to the fore.
