Condition

VERY GOOD. This Georgian 9ct Gold Amethyst Jet mourning ring is in great condition, especially when considering it's over 200 years old! The 9ct Gold piecrust settings hold the Amethyst and Jet securely in place. The buttery Gold band is wide and bold which feels great when worn. The Amethyst has wonderful colouring and some beautiful natural inclusions! Through the Amethyst, you can see an X scratch on the Gold underneath, which must have made before the Amethyst was added to the piece; this interesting addition is noticeable under close inspection and adds to her antique charm. Each of the Jet, varying ever so slightly in size, boast rich black, twinkling hues. This ring is truly something to behold, any collector would be lucky to call it theirs!
