This Georgian 9ct Gold cased Amethyst intaglio fob pendant is a gorgeous little treasure! Bursting with ornate details, this dainty antique wax seal fob is covered in blooming florals and sweeping leaves, displaying a lilac Amethyst at the base.

The Amethyst has been intricately engraved with thistles and foliate surrounding the the word "amity" - meaning friendship, making his Georgian fob a wonderful gift choice! Boasting exquisite craftsmanship and offered in lovely condition, this antique Amethyst fob would make a fantastic addition to your collection.

ERA: Georgian (1714-1837).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 23.5mm long x 12mm wide.
Amethyst is 10.5mm long x 9mm wide.
Weight: 3.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold cased Metal, natural carved Amethyst intaglio.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. This Georgian 9ct Gold cased Amethyst intaglio fob pendant is in very good condition. The Gold casing is bright and buttery and the details have all remained defined. The fob does have some general surface wear, including some wear to the Gold casing and the Amethyst has some light scratches, which is to be expected from a piece of such great age. The intaglio is crisp and the Amethyst remains securely set. All this sweet little Georgian fob needs is a skinny Gold chain to adorn!
