ERA: Georgian (1714-1837).
MEASUREMENTS: Clasp is 15.5mm long x 7mm wide.
Garnet is 8mm long x 6.5mm wide.
Weight: 1.1g.
MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Flat-Cut Garnet.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: This Georgian 9ct Gold flat-cut Garnet clasp is in superb condition. The Garnet is vibrant and has a crisp set of facets, with only minor surface wear visible under the inspection of a jeweller's loupe. There are a few scratches on the back of the clasp, but this isn't visible from the front. The Gold is buttery and the tongue clasp closes securely, so you can wear this Georgian Garnet finding with the utmost confidence!
