MEASUREMENTS: Ring band tapers from 6mm wide at the front to 2mm wide at the back.
Turquoise gems graduate from 2mm to 4mm in diameter.
Weight: 1.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Turquoise.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition

GOOD. This Georgian 18ct Gold Turquoise ring is presented in good condition. Her Turquoise stones are all present and although there is some colour variation in one of the stones, they are generally well matched and possess the most gorgeous blue hue. Some of the 18ct Gold ornamental open work has come away, but this is not noticeable initially due to the intricate style of the work. While her band is slightly mishapen, she still sits comfortably on the finger.
