MEASUREMENTS: The band tapers from 2mm wide at the back to 3.5mm wide at the shoulders.
The face is 17mm across x 8mm wide.
The 5 Garnets graduate from 3.5mm long x 4mm wide to 5mm long x 4mm wide.
Pearls are 1.5mm in diameter.
Weight: 1.8g.
MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Yellow Gold, Garnet, Natural Seed Pearl.
STAMPS: 9, .375, Date letter O.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
Condition
VERY GOOD. This Victorian five stone Garnet and Pearl ring is in a very fine condition indeed. The Garnets are all immaculate with no signs of wear to note and the Pearls still have lustre and are all held securely. The engravings are clear and very pretty. There is wear on the inside of the band in keeping with age, and we believe the ring has had a previous re-sizing at some point during its history as the assay office hallmark is no longer visible, however, the re-size is not visible apart from this clue. This solid 9ct Gold Victorian Garnet ring is an utter delight to behold and we cannot wait for you to fall in love just like we have!
