MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 63mm long inc. bale.
Locket itself is 48mm long x 40mm wide x 10mm deep.
Weight: 19g.
MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver throughout.
HALLMARKS: On back of locket: Maker's Mark "T&J.B", Birmingham Assay, Lion Passant, worn date letter which we believe to have once been an "f", dating this locket back to 1880.
On bale: Lion Passant.
Condition
VERY GOOD. This Victorian aesthetic Sterling Silver locket is in very good condition throughout. The Sterling Silver is bright and gleaming, and the engravings are all crisp. She has some wear on her back and edges, and some minor dings on her beaded edge commensurate with age. The inside of the antique locket boasts one frame, ready to be a new abode for your most precious photograph. Most importantly, she shuts securely with a click. Overall, this is a fine example of the Victorian Aesthetic movement in all of its glory!
