Super Rare
ERA: Victorian, c.1880-1890.
MEASUREMENTS: The necklace is 14 & 1/2" or 37mm long at the shortest length around the neck from clasp to clasp.
Necklace drop (at longest point) is 75mm at the centre of the décolletage.
The necklace has 160 Diamonds in total, ranging from 2mm to 4.6mm.
Towards the clasp Rose-cuts glitter, whilst sizeable old mine and Peruzzi-cuts are flaunted at the front.
The largest Diamond drop is a 4.6mm old mine-cut (approx 0.40ct)
The 4 drops either side range from 3.2mm - 3.7mm- approx 0.60ct for the 4 of them (at least!)
Total carat approx: 5.80cts.
*Please note we have measured each Diamond carefully with jewellers calipers for accuracy, but the carat weight is approximate. Antique and Rose-cut Diamonds irregular shapes, depths and angles prohibit 100% accuracy.

STAMPS: French Eagles head on the hasp of each bolt-ring.
MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver settings on all the Diamonds, Rose-cut Diamonds, Old-Mine cut Diamonds, French 18ct white Gold chain.
5.80cts approx Diamond weight total.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made prior to 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
EXCELLENT. This antique Silver old-cut Diamond swag necklace is in excellent condition! Each link is securely connected and the hinges are in perfect working order. For so many small components in one piece, it is incredible to see the fantastic antique condition it has preserved. The antique Diamonds offer a fiery display of sparkle and are all secure within their settings. The Sterling Silver has accrued an admirable patina throughout. Advised to be worn with care and advised to be worn for special occasions only because of her age and rather complicated construction.
The connecting chain is completely detachable on both sides with a bolt-ring allowing you to use other antique chains if desired. The chain she comes with currently is in perfect working condition allowing you to wear it with confidence!

How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 30%
Day 30: 35%
Day 60: 35%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
