ERA: Mid-Century Vintage c.1950.
MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 26.5mm long x 35.5mm wide (at the widest point).
Weight: 7.2g.
MATERIALS: Silver, Paua Shell.
STAMPS: STG SIL on the back of the brooch.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made prior to 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD. This Silver Paua Shell butterfly brooch is offered in very good condition. The Paua shells are vibrant throughout and are free from any signs of wear. The Silver is bright and has accrued an admirable patina in places, creating a wonderful contrast and making the hues of the shells pop! There are some minor dings on the back of the brooch, commensurate with age, but these can't be seen whilst the brooch is worn and do not affect her integrity. The brooch mechanism is in perfect working order allowing you to wear this eye-catching piece of vintage jewellery with confidence!

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 30%
Day 30: 35%
Day 60: 35%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
